Officiant

I have had the honor of officiating over seventy weddings and other rituals across the country. While I specialize in LGBTQ and progressive Hindu/Dharmic weddings, I have officiated multi-religious, multi-faith and non-denominational weddings for couples of all genders, centering feminist, queer and socially conscious perspectives. I have experience with Hindu-Catholic, Hindu-Jewish, Hindu-Buddhist, Hindu-Christian and secular ceremonies (including Malayalee, Bengali, Gujrati, Tamilian, Karnataka, Andhra, and UP traditions). Every ceremony is developed through intentional conversations with each couple, outlining the various ceremonial elements to create a program that is in line with relevant spiritual traditions, family customs and most importantly the wedding couple.

As a member of Sadhana's Spiritual Advisory Board and coming from a long lineage of Hindu spiritual leaders, this is a personal passion and commitment to make our traditions equitable and accessible to current and future generations.
